At PMG our systems and procedures have been designed to comply with the International Standard ISO 14001:2004 “Environmental Management Systems” and any relevant national, international, state, department and local government legislation. We are actively working to reduce our carbon footprint and assist our customers with initiatives in this critical business area. Importantly, we use our expertise to review the whole requirement to reduce waste during the production process, by correctly specifying manufacturing methods, raw materials and economical quantities.

Chain of Custody
PMG has access to paper that is produced by companies with a stated commitment to
environmental stewardship, minimising ecological impacts and long term sustainable production. This is supported by our FSC® Chain of Custody Certification, license number (FSC-C116811). This provides our customers with the opportunity to include the FSC® Trademark on published products at no extra cost. These on-product labels demonstrate organisational commitment to looking for sustainable solutions and the desire to be part of the chain ensuring forests are being managed correctly as a truly renewable resource.

Carbon Neutral Printing
We offer carbon neutral and recycled paper as standard stock items for digital and offset printing. PMG engaged the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) to undertake an operational carbon footprint audit at our Heidelberg facility. The data from this audit was used to develop a Carbon Neutral Printing Calculator applicable across all facilities. CRI provide the support for the calculator tool and management of carbon offset purchase retirements to facilitate the certification of printed material as being carbon neutral.
This provides the opportunity for our clients to demonstrate their commitment to offsetting carbon emissions by making selected printed products carbon neutral. PMG takes its commitment to helping the environment very seriously. That is why we are continually improving the operations in every area of our business to reduce our environmental impact.
